The story so far

The career of One True King up to this point has marked him out as one to watch. Graduating from point to point he won his maiden on December 15th 2019. A similarly impressive 7 lengths win under rules came at Ludlow a month later. This win booked his place in the Champion Bumper at the 2020 Cheltenham Festival. He ran a big race to finish in the first half of the field.

After a sumer break, he returned to win his maiden hurdle as odds on favourite at Uttoxeter on October 4th. Next would be Cheltenham for the Showcase Meeting at the end of October. He finished second in a highly competitive field of 17 having started 4/1 favourite. He lost nothing in defeat. Returning to Cheltenham for the famous November Meeting he would finish second again, once again in a good field of 17 runners. This time the defeat was by a head. 

One True King would duly get his head in front at his next attempt. Running out a 12 length victory at Leicester and earning a rating of 132. He made all the running that day. Becoming a serious contender as a horse for an ambitious club offering racehorse shares.  

A model of consistency

Since his win at Leicester he has performed over hurdles and fences while demonstrating his toughness and flexibility. Traits any member will admire in their racehorse share.

He has enjoyed two wins at Market Rasen along with one at Sandown. His most recent start was over the Grand National fences at Aintree.
