Race Review: Leicester | 20th November

One True King finished 6th of 7 at Leicester on Monday.
"One True King ran a disappointing race at Leicester yesterday. Going into the race I was very hopeful of a big run and for plenty of the race I was pleased enough. He raced enthusiastically in the early part and jumped ok. Turning into the straight he seemed to get outpaced but he had plenty of time to pick up but in the end ran very flat. He was fine post-race and seems ok today but we'll keep an eye on him and see how he is this week. He rarely runs a bad race and this was probably his most disappointing to date but all horses are entitled to an off day, so let's just hope it was one of those days. We'll see how he is then make a plan going forwards."
