Race Review: Wetherby | 13th January

One True King finished 3rd of 10 at Wetherby on Saturday.
"One True King bounced back to form with a very pleasing run at Wetherby. I think the visor sharpened him up as he travelled much better and I think that's the best he's jumped for a long time. Toby gave him a good ride, very confident and did everything right. The winner still looks well handicapped and we took each other on for most of the race. The pleasing thing with One True King is that he stuck his head down and galloped all the way to the line. Over three miles he probably wants slightly better ground, but he'd get away with that sort of ground over slightly shorter so we'll keep that in the back of our minds. He's come out of the race absolutely fine. He can have an easy week and make a plan going forwards."
