RacehorseClub’s May Review

Create Belief at Curragh
RacehorseClub enjoyed another successful month on the track with Create Belief’s club members celebrating a brilliant success at The Curragh on Irish 2000 Guineas Day.
Trained by Johnny Murtagh and ridden by Ben Coen, Create Belief stormed home to win the mile premier handicap comfortably which resulted in a 10 pounds hike in the handicap to now have an official rating of 97. She came out of her race very well and Royal Ascot is the plan for her next start. She looks to be a stakes race performer in the making and is hugely exciting for the rest of the season.
Getting The Lir Jet to Royal Ascot
The Lir Jet was disappointing when starting joint favourite for the Group 2 Sandy Lane at Haydock. The aim is still to go to Royal Ascot for either the Commonwealth Cup or the Jersey Stakes and is reported to be training very well.
The Lir Jet was watched at Haydock by four owners ticket ballot winners who enjoyed a fantastic day.
Balkos Des Flos following his 2nd at the National
RacehorseClub’s Grand National runner-up Balko Des Flos is enjoying his time out in the field at Rathmore Stud in Ireland and looks a picture.
Not much time off for Potters Corner
Potters Corner is still at Christian Williams’ yard and is having some well-deserved time off. Both horses go back into training in the middle of July preparing for a massively exciting jumps campaign aiming at all the major festivals once again.
What our ballot winners had to say...
“RacehorseClub is a great way to get involved in top-class racehorses inexpensively. To be able to see your horse at the races and meet like minded fellow members is great. An innovative way to get the full owners experience at grade one racecourses. I am so grateful to have been able to attend Haydock and watch The Lir Jet. A fantastic experience in the paddock beforehand to see the horse and hear race tactics from Oisin Murphy who we had some pictures with. The hospitality was also wonderful. A terrific day out”.

RacehorseClub badges are all the rage
It was also great to see other members attend Haydock wearing their RacehorseClub badges. We really cannot wait to get more of our members on track in the coming months.
Members only
Stable visits to see RacehorseClub’s horses are on the horizon. A trip to Michael Bell’s yard to see The Lir Jet is planned for July and members will be able to see Balko Des Flos, Create Belief and Potters Corner later in the year.
A virtual Royal Ascot preview night will take place for RacehorseClub members in the run up to the world-famous meeting. It will be hosted by RacehorseClub ambassador Ed Chamberlin and joined by Oisin Murphy, Michael Bell and Johnny Murtagh. Members will receive full details shortly.
Keep up to date with our new app
RacehorseClub is excited to launch the new app for members which will allow viewing updates and information so easy to do. The app will be available by Royal Ascot.
A massive month ahead for RacehorseClub both on and off the racecourse and we can’t wait for you to share the journey with us.
