Following an exhaustive search for our next star we could not be more confident that we have landed an exceptional horse in Mise En Scene. We have known all about her since our own Oisin Murphy rode her to success in her maiden race last summer before going on to greater things.

RacehorseClub members can look forward to days out at some of the very top events in the calendar. Starting almost immediately with the second Classic race of the season, the QIPCO 1000 Guineas at Newmarket on May 1st.

Mise En Scene is a rising Group 1 star

Mise En Scene comes to us having already established herself as a serious contender for Group 1 honours. In 2021 she was highly regarded as one of the best two year old fillies in Europe. Quite right too with an official rating of 109.

Incredible bloodline and daughter of Siyouni

Her bloodlines could barely be more auspicious. As a daughter of the French-based stallion sensation, Siyouni, and a mare, Gadfly, who is a Galileo half-sister to the 2006 QIPCO 1,000 Guineas heroine, Speciosa, she is bred on very similar lines to two of the great champions of the past few years: the 2020 Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe winner, Sottsass, and 2021’s unbeaten dual Classic scorer, St Mark’s Basilica.

Newmarket trained by James Ferguson

As with all RacehorseClub horses she has been placed in the hands of a top trainer. James Ferguson has quickly established himself as one of the country’s most exciting having emerged from under the considerable wings of Charlie Appleby, Jessica Harrington, Brian Meehan and Sir Mark Prescott. We look forward to inviting members to visit his historic location at Saville House, Newmarket this summer.

Mise En Scene has been carefully nurtured along her racing path. Beginning with the ride under Oisin Murphy at Haydock where she won easily by four lengths.

She was next seen at Goodwood in the Group 3 Prestige Stakes, a race with huge pedigree and an impressive roll of honour. She won again comfortably beating a high class field. No-one who saw that performance could have failed to spot a serious horse on her way to great things.

Cieren Fallon riding Mise En Scene

Her next race was the Group 1 Fillies Mile at Newmarket. Despite a step up in class she performed admirably and was very unlucky to finish 4th behind Inspiral. Cieren Fallon took the ride that day. Cieren has gone on to become the number one jockey at Qatar Racing for the season ahead and we are delighted to say he will be riding Mise En Scene in the QIPCO 1000 Guineas. No jockey knows her better than Cieren.

Breeders' Cup World Championships entry

That excellent performance in the Fillies Mile saw her earn an invitation to run at the Breeders’ Cup World Championships at Del Mar in America. Unfortunately, having arrived in terrific shape for the race she was handed the most terrible of draws on the very wide outside, effectively cancelling any opportunity for success. Once again she ran a superlative race and thoroughly confirmed her Group 1 credentials.

Since arriving home from America, she was given a well deserved holiday before coming back into training at the start of the year. We simply cannot wait to see how she has progressed since her last outing and with the QIPCO 1000 Guineas as her next race it promises to be a grand day out.

RacehorseClub continuously strives for better race horses!

Mise En Scene answers any questions about the ability of RacehorseClub to sustain our amazing entry into the world of high class racing. We have rolled with the punches, losing Create Belief to racing still hurts, but come out fighting. We are all ecstatic at this announcement and more than ever looking forward to the season ahead.

Trainer James Ferguson said; "I’m hugely excited and honored to be training for RacehorseClub. The Club has been a remarkable success since launching only 12 months ago. To be added to their illustrious group of trainers is a real privilege and I’m sure Mise En Scene will prove to be hugely popular both on and off the racecourse.

In 2021 she was highly regarded as one of the best two year old fillies in Europe and I believe she has improved going into her three year old campaign. She is being trained for the QIPCO 1000 Guineas and the plan is to go straight there without a prep run. She is very straightforward at home and is a yard favourite. I firmly believe she is up to winning a Group One this season.

As we have already seen, RacehorseClub is committed to giving racing fans across the globe the opportunity to be part of world class horses and I can’t wait to welcome her new members to my yard to visit her, but also meet them on the racecourse.”

RacehorseClub ambassador Ed Chamberlin on Mise En Scene

Freddy Tylicki has this to say...

"RacehorseClub is absolutely ecstatic to be part owners of Mise En Scene with Qatar Racing. We have enjoyed success together in 2021 with The Lir Jet who is due to return to the track shortly.

We have been patient in finding the right new horse for RacehorseClub and to be able to have a superstar filly like Mise En Scene is massively exciting. She was exceptional last season and will again compete in the biggest races this year. The QIPCO 1000 Guineas will be her starting point after which we’ll look at the Derby meeting at Epsom before Royal Ascot and Glorious Goodwood with a possible tilt at the Breeders Cup at the end of the year.

James Ferguson is one of the most exciting trainers in the game. He has already trained a Group One winner in only his second full season training and hopefully Mise En Scene will be able to add to that tally this season. RacehorseClub is very excited to welcome members old and new to be part of what promises to be an unbelievable journey and experience being part of Mise En Scene.”
