Rachael Blackmore riding for RacehorseClub

Rachael Blackmore takes the ride on the 2021 Grand National runner up Balko Des Flos with regular jockey Jack Tudor on former Welsh Grand National winner, Potters Corner.

Balko Des Flos has opened up favourite with the bookmakers for Friday’s race with Potters Corner also towards the head of the market.

Both horses had their prep runs for this race three weeks ago and are expected to go well.

RacehorseClub’s Freddy Tylicki said ...

“Friday promises to be a great race and to have two fancied runners at Cheltenham at one of their premier meetings is fantastic.

Balko Des Flos is a Cheltenham Festival winner and the outstanding Rachael Blackmore takes the ride for Henry De Bromhead.

Potters Corner finished third in this race last year for the hugely talented Jack Tudor who again takes the ride for Christian Williams.

Fingers crossed they both have some luck in running and come home safe and sound. Wouldn’t it be amazing if they jumped the last jump upsides before embarking up the famous Cheltenham hill!”
